Uju Obi creates art for exceptional spaces.
Working with glass, her work is about Light: transparencies, reflections and refractions.
Continuously experimenting with the versatility of glass; techniques used vary from painting to fusing, resin lamination, sandblasting and/or water-jet cutting.
With a background in textiles, Uju’s work often draws inspiration from textile ideas such as applique, beading and surface pattern design.
Described as “ethereal” and “magical,” her work has been displayed in the Victoria & Albert museum, London UK and Nesta, London UK.
